After his death, Clyde’s mother Edith wrote a letter to the US Army.
Please bury my son, Sgt. Clyde T. Weaver, 37705718 in a Permanent American Military Cemetery as near as you can to the place where he killed, The Belgian Bulge.
If it be possible I should like for you to send me a picture of the Cemetery, marking his grave.

He find his final resting place on 4 August 1948.
